"HONKY TONK WAYS" is the culmination of songs mostly written and recorded during the pandemic quarantine. Half of the songs were co-written by Dasher and Folk/Americana artist Linda McRae, via Zoom meetings! The title track was co-written by Dasher and "The Highwaywoman" Brigitte London. The album also includes a cover of the classic Marty Robbins song "Tonight, Carmen" and a previously unreleased song written by Dashers lifelong friend, music partner, and ex-bandmate Andrew Adkins.
The band on this record is exceptional! Although many of the instrument tracks had to be recorded remotely per safety protocol, the end result has a very congruent live feel.
